Founded in 2003 by Frédéric Pellerin, Voxtone records and production was born from a desire to show to the public bands with various influences and to help the emergence of artists straying from traditional commercial formats while creating a product accessible to the public.

With its foremost criteria being quality of content and production, Voxtone, in spite of its infancy, has distinguish itself by the originality of its two first productions launched in 2003; Madcaps’ Whole World album and Caïman Fu pop-rock band eponymous CD that have both benefited from very good critics. Since then, the concern for quality and originality has been confirmed through the production of albums from new artists.

The last two years have been particularly productive at Voxtone. No less than five new albums have been launched. In 2005, signer Lauren Posner launched her very first major work while Caïman Fu band was making a strong come back with a second record titled Les Charmes du quotidien. In 2006, the band Madcaps came back with High, the maturity album. The band Malade MANTRA and Viviane Audet author-composer-singer saw their very first album 4 millions de tounes and Le long jeu come out.

There are thus many shows scheduled for Voxtone records and production artists in 2007. Furthermore, Caïman Fu is actively working on its third album. Something to watch for!

Frédéric Pellerin, the company’s founder, has been involved in music since 1998 with the company Groupe Musical Madcaps that encompasses many areas of activities such as show production, publishing house, the Studio Vox (recording studio where many artists have work such as Nanette Workman, Fred Fortin, Galaxie 500, Martin Léon, Annie Brocoli, Roch Voisine and many more) and the activities of the band Madcaps for which Frédéric Pellerin is the singer, guitarist and first composer.
